Silmy Karim: Kerja Sama Imigrasi dengan VFS Global untuk Digitalisasi Layanan Keimigrasian
JAKARTA – Direktorat Jenderal (Ditjen) Imigrasi meresmikan kerja sama dengan VFS Global, perusahaan terbesar di bidang layanan keimigrasian, pada Rabu (16/10/2024). Layanan keimigrasian pada website VFS Global akan mulai beroperasi pada Desember 2024, tepat sebelum musim liburan akhir tahun. Kedua belah pihak tak hanya bekerja sama dalam pelayanan, namun juga dalam meningkatkan minat warga negara asing untuk mengunjungi Indonesia melalui berbagai program promosi.
Untuk memudahkan akses orang asing dalam mendapatkan visa, Ditjen Imigrasi telah menerapkan layanan berbasis online. Kini, melalui kerja sama dengan VFS Global, Ditjen Imigrasi selangkah lebih maju dalam efisiensi proses permohonan dan penerbitan electronic visa. Afiliasi VFS Global dengan international airlines seperti Emirates, Thai Airways dan Air India juga mendukung penyebaran informasi dan promosi visa Indonesia.
“Jejaring kerja sama VFS Global dengan airlines memungkinkan warga negara asing membeli tiket pesawat sekaligus memperoleh visa, misalnya pada platform milik maskapai Emirates. Saya berharap kerja sama serupa dapat terjalin dengan Garuda Indonesia untuk semakin mempermudah proses perjalanan ke Indonesia,” tutur Direktur Jenderal Imigrasi, Silmy Karim. Ia menjelaskan, Ditjen Imigrasi telah menerapkan digitalisasi visa elektronik (e-Visa) yang bisa di-apply online, dengan pembayaran menggunakan kartu kredit, serta dapat melewati autogate. “Sekarang, kami tingkatkan lagi jangkauan layanan dengan membuka akses permohonan melalui VFS Global,” ujar Silmy Karim. Mendukung pernyataan tersebut, pendiri dan Chief Executive Officer (CEO) VFS Global, Zubin Karkaria mengatakan pihaknya sangat gembira dapat turut menyediakan layanan elektronik visa Indonesia. “Indonesia merupakan destinasi yang sangat populer bagi para pelancong di seluruh dunia, dan kami merasa terhormat untuk bermitra dengan Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi untuk layanan online ini. Opsi baru pengajuan visa melalui website VFS Global akan meningkatkan pengalaman pengajuan visa, sehingga dapat mendorong penggunaan platform digital,” tukas Zubin.
Nilai tambah lain diperoleh Ditjen Imigrasi melalui kerjasama ini di antaranya adalah fasilitas pemesanan grup besar dan layanan pelanggan dalam beberapa bahasa. Di samping itu, jaringan yang dimiliki VFS Global di 153 negara dengan 3.469 kantor cabang di seluruh dunia. “Ditjen Imigrasi menawarkan solusi digital termutakhir yang meningkatkan experience bagi warga negara asing yang ingin mengunjungi Indonesia. Dalam kerja sama kami dengan VFS Global, kami bertujuan untuk secara efektif berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kedatangan orang asing, dengan mempertimbangkan jaringan dan platform digital yang dimiliki oleh partner kami,” pungkas Silmy.
Silmy Karim: Immigration Cooperation with VFS Global for the Digitalization of Immigration Services
JAKARTA – The Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration inaugurated cooperation with VFS Global, the largest company for immigration services, on Wednesday (16/10/2024). Immigration services on the VFS Global website will start operating in December 2024, just before the year-end holiday season. The two parties not only cooperate in services but also in increasing the interest of foreign nationals to visit Indonesia through various promotional programs. To facilitate access for foreigners to obtain visas, the Directorate General of Immigration has implemented online-based services. Now, through cooperation with VFS Global, the Directorate General of Immigration is one step further in the efficiency of the electronic visa application and issuance process. VFS Global’s affiliation with international airlines such as Emirates, Thai Airways, and Air India also supports the dissemination of information and promotion of Indonesian visas. “VFS Global’s network of cooperation with airlines allows foreign nationals to purchase flight tickets and obtain visas at the same time, for example, on the Emirates airline platform. I hope that similar cooperation can be established with Garuda Indonesia to further facilitate the travel process to Indonesia,” said the Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim. He explained that the Directorate General of Immigration had implemented electronic visa (e-Visa) digitalization that could be applied online, with payments using credit cards, and could pass through autogates. “Now, we are further increasing our service reach by opening application access through VFS Global,” said Silmy Karim.
